fastcakes are you on another planet, with the best will in the world the charges for trackable item to USA is not something l am am willing to charge or buyers are willing to pay, also yes l also understand that i am responsible for delivery. But surely even you through clouded eyes can understand that something is wrong if a buyer opens a dispute with a couple of days of placing order coming from the usa to the uk, if l ordered something from USA l would expect at least a coople of weeks. So please, l did expect a bit more constructive replies than this.

Non paying buyer, Ebay fee's and paypal refunds
I recently sold an item (highish value)on a buy it now to an Irish buyer, with low but good feedback, needless to say, they never paid, opened a dispute and managed to get my fees back.
Relisted the item and blocked the "buyer" of the original listing, they contacted me and said that there had been a death in the faimly and they had been away soorting things out but would like to purchase the item, so,probably rather stupidly I let them purchase from the new listing, then after 3 days of no contact I had an email from the buyers husband asking where the original item was as it had been brought over a month ago, giving a different address and telephone number to the purchasers contact details, so I contacted the purchaser asking what was going on to be told her husband isn't dealing with the death in the family but she will pay for the item, which she did by paypal.
After checking the addresses provided one isn't a proper address and the second address given by the husband appears to be an empty property thats for sale, similarly the telephone number supplied doesn't exist.
The paypal address was unconfirmed as well so I refunded the buyer explaining that I wasn't willing to ship to an unconfirmed address under the circumstances and that if they still required the item they could pay via Sterling money draft or a bacs payment in Sterling, which they said they would, needless to say they haven't...
Today I tried to open an unpaid item case to get my fees back and surprise surprise ebay wont allow me to do that as I refunded their paypal payment (all be it under their own seller safety guidelines)so it appears that I'll have to take the hit on the fee's while under the worthless feedback system I cant even tell other sellers what a waste of time these "buyers" are when it comes to buying anything bigger than a £3 set of stickers...

Yes, unfortunately once a buyer has paid you can't file an Unpaid Item case even after refund.
You can cancel the transaction - that either requires the buyer's agreement or for them to do nothing. If they do reply to it but do not agree to cancel you won't get your fee back.
Your best bet might be to issue a cancellation without telling them. If they don't reply to it you can close it after 7 days and your fee will be refunded.
Click on "More Actions" on the far right of the transaction on your sold list in My eBay > Resolve a Problem > I want to cancel a transaction.

I sold a phone to someone on ebay. Posted it and have a reciept of postage.
The recipiant has recieved the phone but makes out he hasnt got it.
He made a paypal claim and got his money back.
The guys is a bull5s1tter but paypal is doing NOTHING to help us sellers against scammers on ebay.
Can anyone help me sort this problem out as paypal and ebay want their money.
Is it easier for me to close my accont down and open another one under different name and address etc...

Correct me if I'm wrong - but you got your money refunded AND received the shirt.
I won an item on ebay at the end of April. After I had paid I noticed that it was listing my old address as the shipping address. I immediately contacted the seller to to find out if it already been sent and to give the right address - no reply. A few days later I emailed again - no reply. Another few days, I emailed again. This time they replied telling me that, no they hadn't sent it and thanks for the correct address, it will be sent out asap. Another two weeks or so went by, nothing. So I emailed seller again. This time they replied by saying that the item had been sent back because it had gone to the wrong address. I emailed back saying I thought you hadn't sent it. By this time, nearly a month had gone by so I opened a case, which I won and got my money back. A week later I received the shirt. Now the seller keeps emailing me all the time saying they know I received the shirt and to give them the money back. I've reported them to ebay but nothing seems to have happened and they have emailed me again today demanding I pay the money, calling me a thief and a liar. Help!!!!
He refunds you & has to hope your honest & return the item?
Purchased an item that was not as described and seller has offered to refund.
This was paid by personal cheque, is it safe to send back and hope he is honest and sends payment or should i request payment before sending back.
